How Did We Get Here?
We set out to resolve the issues we've been hearing from the market—that's why Plasma was created. However, as we've worked with more and more merchants and merchant service providers, we identified clear challenges that weren't solvable in an intuitive way when we first started this company.
Some time ago, these solutions became possible. We've been holding our announcements until we were positive that we could launch this the right way.
Our Vision for AI
Restaurant tech is a tough business, and we've seen what the market has produced. While there have been some good ideas, we believe the industry is utilizing this new technology incorrectly. We want to go further than a chatbot or a handful of features—we want to revolutionize POS forever.
We know merchants don't want useless features. We'll continue to hyperfocus on our users and their challenges to ensure this new version of the product maintains our mission: improving restaurant technology for all merchants and MSPs.
Timeline & Priorities
We're working hard to catch up with the rest of the industry. Our startup is just over a year old, and we've accomplished so much since we began. Moving forward, we're focusing on three main priorities:
- Bugs / Quick Wins / User-specific issues
As always, customer requests remain our top priority - Product / Features catch-up
Ensuring merchants can do anything and everything using our system - Core AI Building
Fully revamping the entire system
With all that being said, Plasma AI will be available to try sometime this summer.
Pricing
This is TBD. However, as most folks know, we price Plasma to sell since we want everyone to be able to use it. We will try our best to keep prices as low as possible.
